Purpose: To show developing minds that books can be a source of fun
Ages: 2 to 6
Name: The NYLS Children's Theatre
Description: Short theatrical works written and performed by children
Purpose: To encourage creative writing and expression
Ages: 7 to 17
Name: BookBuddy
Description: Book discussion groups for kids
Purpose: To help young readers build communities of reading peers
while achieving a greater understanding of the selected text
Ages: 7 to 17 (groups arranged by age)
